Kathleen Fox is an interdisciplinary artist and multimedia designer, specializing in VR, AR, game design, animation, AI, and video design for live performance. Her body of work is characterized by a thoughtful exploration of themes like empathy, grief, loneliness, memory in the digital age, and the importance of physicality and presence in virtual spaces.
Throughout her career, Kathleen has worked on a diverse range of personal and client-based projects. Her recent collaborations with Springbok Entertainment, Nightlight Labs, and Flaherty Pictures have allowed her to apply her extensive skill set to a variety of exciting projects. Notable recent credits in the XR space include Trouble in Paradise (Tribeca Film Festival ‘22) with Springbok Entertainment and Be Siegfried (Bayreuth Festival ‘22) with NightLight Labs.
Kathleen's work has also been recognized on Broadway and off-Broadway, where she has worked with prominent theater groups such as the Richard Frankel Group, Audible, and most recently the HERE Art Center. Her notable theater credits include Cries and Whispers (Center for New Performance), King Lear (Walt Disney Modular Theatre), and unCovered (Sharon Lund Theatre),
Kathleen is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts, where she earned her MFA in Interactive Media for Performance.
